This is another broker allegedly owned by MarCo Global projects LTD although we can find no mention of this company anywhere except on warning sites citing them as scammers. They are claiming they are limited in the Marshall Islands but we were unable to confirm this.
Status Markets do not appear to be a legitimate firm in any way. They have no address, no website (other than where you make a deposit) and no phone numbers. If you click the 'contact' link on their website a box appears with:
This website is owned and operated by MarCo Global projects LTD, registration number 106690, which is located in Trust Company Complex, Ajeltake Road, Ajeltake Island, Majuro, Republic of the Marshall Islands, MH 96960
And nothing else. Under their terms and conditions there is an email address: [email protected] but that's all.
The small print at the bottom of their website says:
ADDRESS: Trust Company Complex, Ajeltake Road, Ajeltake Island, Majuro, Republic of the Marshall Islands, MH 96960 PHONE: +442080979112 EMAIL: [email protected] But these contact details are only repeated on a site called yenino.com in Arabic.
Their actual front page appears to be on a different domain to avoid association with where you deposit you money, but the theme and graphics remain consistent: https://statusmarkets.com/ as well as the address.
According to this website, the withdrawal process is an uncertain agreement:
When you deposit or withdraw money for trading purposes using alternative payment methods, you should be aware that additional fees and restrictions may apply. Client may be required to present additional information and documents.
So which documents you will have to provide and what fees you have to pay remain a mystery, but it seems obvious that they will be sufficient to delay and add cost to such an extent that you will be unable to withdraw your funds for the length of your association with this firm.
Whatever the case, the site accepts users from Canada, where CFD options trading is outlawed, as is the action of soliciting CFD trading to citizens:
