Bitcoin Victory Review
What is Bitcoin Victory?
Well from the page alone it does seem very similar to many of the other Bitcoin auto-trading websites, so we will take a look with a critical eye:
OK so we are being asked to join up with something without any information on what it actually is. There is no information at all. The site just says "Take your trading skills to the next level with Bitcoin Victory!" Assuming we have any trading skills, whatever those are, I do not think we would be looking at this site.
There is not address, no phone number, no company registration number (so they are not a UK Ltd company) and no visible team members. This is all highly suspicious and earns the site a big red flag!
Let's have a look at the privacy policy as it is clear we are advised to read this before we enter our details. We read: "In addition, you may specifically request that We submit certain Personal Data about you to third-party Bitcoin trading platforms." This seems an odd statement, that we may specifically request our data to be submitted to someone else. We'll come back to this.
There is an email address here: [email protected] for any requests that we have. We will email them thus:
What does:
'In addition, you may specifically request that We submit certain Personal Data about you to third-party Bitcoin trading platforms. In such cases, We will share the Personal Data that you will provide to Us for such purpose, to such third parties, and their use of your Personal Data will be subject to their own privacy policies.'
Mean?
Who are these people and why would I specifically request you submit my details to them when you haven't even explained who they are?
Thanks.
We have not received a reply in the intervening months.
We also see that:
Personal Data about you may be transferred to a third country (i.e. jurisdictions other than the one you reside in) or to international organizations.
Which is a concern as when it comes to financial matters, operators outside of your country are not going to be registered with anyone like the FCA and so they do not have to abide by any British Law. The internet is not as regulated as you might imagine. If you have nit heard of them as a UK brand then the likelihood is that they have no entitlement to serve a British citizen and you have no right to request a refund. Either way there is no British authority that has any legal clout to help you recover your money. This is another big red flag!
All things considered this is actually one of the more realistic websites that tells you that you should not invest unless you have money to spare. It also tells you that you should carefully consider when to invest. However it is best not to let this fool you.
The Bitcoin Victory website describes itself as a trading mechanism for Bitcoin only, but does explain that 70% or more of investors will lose money. this can only mean that they are actually trading CFDs and not exclusively Bitcoin at all. This is another big red flag!
So the whole of this website is riddled with lies, just coupled with some sensible advice to draw you in.
VERDICT: BITCOIN VICTORY IS A: SCAM !!
Run, hide, bury yourself under a bridge, but do not send these people your money.
